Do you do nothing? 04:15 Well, that's what the Vance Wing pretty much says. Don't do anything. The Democrats say we don't believe it. 04:23 You're president of the United States. You're Donald Trump or really any serious president or Ronald Reagan or so forth. 04:30 Don't you take that seriously when you're talking about the Islamo-Nazi regime in Tehran that is threatening to blow our country off the face of the earth? A year and a half ago. 04:51 So what if on your watch, despite the fact that your advisor tells you that they said that they were going to have 11 nuclear weapons, and there are congressional hearings later, and there's a commission later, and everybody's looking into it because now they can threaten to blow us off the face of the earth and blackmail us and same with our allies and so forth and so on? Is that okay? Okay. 05:18 What if they have ballistic missiles by the thousands that can reach Europe? 05:22 And they're trying to perfect them to reach the United States of America. And what if you're aware of that? 05:30 While they're busy building 11 nuclear warheads, according to them. Is that okay? 05:41 I'm just curious. 05:44 What would the woke right isolationists do? Nothing. 05:48 Is that okay with you, America? Is that okay with you? 05:51 A regime that has slaughtered thousands of American civilians and soldiers, that has tried to assassinate our president. And the Israelis spent 12 days softening up the enemy, taking out their radar systems and so forth and so on. They're gonna be willing to kill a million of our people with a blink of an eye. 07:00 And they're at it again. 07:03 So he decides to authorize military action against the regime in coordination with the Israelis. 07:13 Now you have a real dummy by the name of Ann Coulter who's surfaced again, who's out there. Apparently she wrote a piece that's not worth reading about. 07:22 It's really a foul-mouthed piece about how Netanyahu dragged Trump into the war. Trump has said over and over again, that's not true. 07:31 Nobody dragged him into it. Nobody talked him into it. Nobody did anything. But they don't want to believe it because they have their conspiracy nuts and they have this all figured out. 07:42 Or that Mark Levin persuaded the president to go to war in February when I never even spoke to the president about Iran in February. But it doesn't matter. 07:59 Now, do you want a political party built around this ideology that even when it comes to a regime like Iran, a terrorist regime, the number one on the face of the earth, that has killed thousands of Americans, civilian and military, that they're going to literally have nuclear warheads, according to them, and ballistic missiles to sit on their hands? Would you vote for somebody for president? What if it were a liberal? What if it had been Obama or Biden? No, you wouldn't tolerate it. There's way too much at stake. 08:33 And yet that's what the woke right That's what the Matt Gaetzes and the Tucker Carlson's and the Ann Coulters and the Wiener Nations and all that. That's what they want you to agree to. That can't be agreed to under any circumstances. And then we have a president of the United States that has said since 1979 or 1980, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Well, he broke his promise, they said. No wars. He also said peace through strength. 09:04 Okay, now if we have critics of that war, the isolationists, who are demanding, one, that we not take military action, and now, number two, say this went on way, way too long. 09:18 Well, why is this still going on? 09:21 Why is it still going on? 09:25 Because the VP came up with an MOU, right? 09:28 That was utterly defective. They thought they'd get a deal. We'd pay them hundreds of billions or tens of billions of dollars. They rejected it. 09:36 And we have this constant back and forth, back and forth, negotiation, no negotiation, talks, no talks, and so forth. That goes on for months. 09:47 So we tapped the brakes. 09:51 And even though the opening of this military operation was spectacular, we and the Israelis, we sideline the Israelis, and then we decide we're going to pump the brakes. 10:03 And we keep pumping the brakes. 10:05 And then they block the Strait of Hormuz, and we obviously have opened the Strait of Hormuz. 10:11 And it's gone on now for what? Eight, nine months? 10:17 Now some of us have argued we should have taken care of it Ended it. 10:22 Armed the Iranian people. Remove the regime. It is the only way to ensure the safety of the United States of America, as we have done in the past with other regimes throughout our history. 10:35 Because they are hell-bent on getting nuclear weapons, and they get help from the Chinese, the Russians, and the North Koreans. 10:42 It doesn't make any sense to do all this. 10:45 and then to leave them, and then in three or four years they're back at it again under a Democrat or even under an isolationist Republican. 10:54 Now these very same people want you to believe that we had an electoral blowout because the President of the United States took military steps to prevent the Iranian Nazi regime from getting nuclear weapons and using them against us. 11:11 They want you to believe that we had a blowout. 11:14 Because this went on for too long, when in fact, it's their heroes that caused it to go on too long. Constantly looking for off-ramps and off-ramps and off-ramps. Constantly coming up with ideas to negotiate and talking terms and so forth and so on. They're the reason it's been prolonged. 11:37 But ladies and gentlemen, there's no single reason here why we lost the midterms. 11:44 Despite the buffoons on the internet and elsewhere with their little websites or their little magazines and They are on the internet all day long. They don't really work for a living and they write these one sentences and two sentences usually they have the f-word in there about seven times and What they're really trying to do is settle political scores or to draw attention to themselves to get these hits and these eyes and these clicks. 12:21 I mean, in so many ways, the Internet is toxic. It's a cesspool, and it really has coarsened any of the debate. 12:32 And these are losers. They've done nothing to contribute to society. They did nothing to try and win this election. As a matter of fact, several of them wanted the Republicans to lose so they can start all over again, you know, with a new party. This one's old, you know, 40 years old. It's actually older. But everything that's come before 40 years, it's all old. It's all bad. You know, forget about free market capitalism. Forget about that. 12:59 Forget about having forward allies. Since World War II, a president's party lost control of at least one chamber of Congress in nine midterm elections. Truman, Eisenhower, Reagan, Clinton, George W. Bush, Obama twice, Trump twice. 26:20 Five lost boat chambers. Truman, Eisenhower, Clinton, Bush, and now Trump. Four presidents faced these congressional setbacks entering the final two years of their second elected terms. Reagan in 86, Bush in 2006, Obama in 2014, Trump now in 2026. 26:38 Yet divided government did not prevent Trump's predecessors from pursuing consequential foreign policy and national security objectives. 26:47 Specifically, In 1986, the Republicans lost 26 House seats and eight Senate seats. In 1994, Clinton lost 54 House seats and eight Senate seats. 27:04 In 2010, go Tea Party. 27:07 Obama lost 63 House seats and six Senate seats. 27:12 My friend Bill Hemmer said the Tea Party was started by Jim DeMint in Greenville, South Carolina. No, it wasn't. 27:19 It was a spontaneous movement that was started in all kinds of environments in all kinds of parts of the country. 27:27 I was there. 27:29 In 2006, George W. Bush lost 30 House seats and six Senate seats and so forth. Now, if we stop there, we say this is no big deal. But it is a big deal. The point is it does happen. 27:44 But it didn't have to happen. 27:47 Because people stayed home. 27:52 And it's not a matter of waving something special in front of their faces. 27:57 Well, we should wave this and that and we should have... No! 28:02 There needs to be a level of patriotism, a level of rationality that when you're up against Marxists and Islamists and Al-Sayed in Michigan, Tallarico and Hinojosa in Texas, and you name your state and you name your congressional district, it's in your own self-interest and that of your family and your country for you to vote. 28:26 The other side turned out. 28:30 The other side turned out. 28:37 And ours did not. 28:42 Ours did not. 28:46 And honestly, it's very shameful. 28:51 And there's far more at stake in this midterm election than there are in most. 28:55 Because we are up against Marxists and Islamists. You know what that means? 29:07 That we're not going to have a federal judge go through... 29:11 We're not going to have a federal judge go through for six years because they have the majority. 29:17 Maybe four years if we can. So the Supreme Court is stuck. You've got two justices who I think are 80 years old. Maybe Clarence is a little older but not much. 29:31 It has consequences. 29:34 You don't have people who are telling you this is the most important election of our lifetime and today they're downplaying it. Don't downplay it. 29:42 Don't say one thing one day and another thing another day. 29:47 And circling back, these woke, like isolationists and, you know, neo-socialists who want to recreate the Republican Party and then they start blaming traditional conservatives for what they want and what they helped create? 30:11 Outrageous. 30:14 They are a poison. 30:19 And we need to get back to traditional conservatism, certainly when President Trump has completed his two years. So over time, That's part of what's taking place. And over time, all of the immigration, illegal in particular, with birthright citizenship over time, has had an impact. And the immigration from places like California, where people will move to Texas, but they'll continue to vote left-wing Democrat. All these things came to a head in Texas. All of them. 33:57 And they're going to come to a head in other places, too, like Michigan. 34:01 Michigan, would you ever have believed any time in your life that any state would elect an individual whose family has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, who has ties to care, who has ties to somebody like Hassan Piker, who is celebrating 9-11? 34:20 Would you ever in your life have thought a disgusting, evil little bastard like that would get elected to the Senate from any state, let alone Michigan? 34:30 And yet he did, by three or four percentage points. 34:37 That's not because of the price of gasoline. 34:40 That's not because of quote-unquote a forever war. There's not even a war going on, effectively. 34:46 But you get my point. 34:49 There's something wrong when people vote that way. And there's something wrong when other people sit on the sidelines so a guy like that can win. 34:59 If that's not an all-hands-on-deck moment, and do you even need to be told by me or other people or by anybody? So what happens is the way D.C. and the media work, somebody wants to plant a story, a hit on somebody else. 50:53 And so if you have a real journalist and a real newspaper, they're very cautious about that sort of thing, but not at the New York Compost with Stephen Nelson. And the New York Post agreed to do it. It doesn't work that way. 53:53 Especially not with somebody like a Donald Trump or Ronald Reagan or something. 53:57 We got destroyed because of Iran, added a top Republican strategist. Notice, no names. Iran is what caused gas prices and diesel prices to skyrocket, not tariffs. Actually, it was tariffs. If Republicans want to rebuild, the first step is ending the war in Iran and embracing an actual American first foreign policy. 54:18 Well, the President of the United States is in charge of foreign policy. So again, here you have an effort by people in the White House to undermine the President of the United States. 54:31 That's what this is. 54:34 Trump launched the war, they write, on February 28 alongside Israel at the encouragement of Prime Minister Netanyahu, despite saying prior U.S. strikes had obliterated Tehran's nuclear program. So this is the writer for the New York Post, a.k.a. the New York Compost. 54:51 Might as well be the New York Slimes. He initially said the war would be over within four weeks or so, but it has now dragged on more than eight months. And why is that? 55:02 New York Post, a.k.a. Compost. I want to get to the piece by, it's not a piece, it's really an interview by Victor Davis Hanson, and just point out a couple things that he said at the Daily Signal. 78:13 He's interviewed by Tony Kinnett. 78:17 Hanson says, we have to remember that in at least 126 years since 1900, when the party in the White House faces a midterm, whether it's first or second, 90% of the time it loses House seats, 90%. 75% to 80% of those administrations lose Senate seats, depending on how you count some independents. 78:38 So the odds were 90% against this administration avoiding House losses. That's number one. 78:44 That said, I'm not sure it's going to change much because the presidency has evolved, for good or ill, into an imperial presidency. I'll give an example. 78:54 He said, yes, Presidents Obama and Clinton had worse midterm losses in 2010 and 1994 than anyone except FDR in 1938. 79:03 They came in with huge House and Senate majorities and held the White House. And by the time of their last midterm, with two years left in their second terms, they had lost both the House and Senate, dramatically so, and nothing happened. 79:17 What I mean by that is Clinton said he didn't need congressional authority to bomb Serbia for 77 days. I don't remember any impeachment of that either, by the way. And yet he did it. 79:28 He said, I'll work with Gingrich, meaning the Speaker of the House, and I'll get two more years of balanced budget. And he did that. He said, at the last moment, I want to have a Palestinian-Israeli summit. And he did that. He had the summit. 79:43 Domestically, of course, they had executive orders. Obama said, I have a pen and a phone. It's going to affect me. And it didn't, he said. In foreign policy, the years were the most radical of his eight. He recognized Cuba, restored full recognition to communist Cuba, that is. Then he entered into the disastrous Iran deal and said it wasn't a treaty. 80:03 And the Republicans in the Senate helped him do that, just so you know. 80:07 So he didn't need the Senate. I thought the worst was the Paris Climate Accord. 80:11 My point is that a few things will make a difference. I don't think that President Trump will be able to get judges confirmed with a Democrat majority if they take the Senate, and I think they will. He said, I'm not sure, but I think they will, and he was right. These people will not approve a single district or circuit court judge, much less a Supreme Court justice, that's for sure. 80:34 Victor said, and we know that in the House there will be a circus of subpoenas and impeachment and lawfare. We'll see that nonstop. But Clinton and Obama left office with 70% and 59% popularity, respectively. 80:49 They were more popular than they'd ever been. And I think part of the reason is that the party that wins a big midterm overreacts. 80:57 His members get a little crazy and say things. In 1998, he didn't approve of Clinton's behavior, but the economy was booming. So they tried to impeach him, and that was very unpopular. He was talking about Republicans. So I think the Democrats will overreach, number one. Then the presidential campaign heats up. We saw that with George W. Bush and Al Gore, Clinton just watched them beat each other over the head. Gore didn't even want Clinton campaigning for him, and Clinton became Mr. Statesman. 81:24 The same thing happened with Obama. Trump and Hillary Clinton went at it. The less you saw or heard of Obama, the more popular the idea of Obama in the abstract became. He said, I think Trump will do what he wants in foreign policy. He'll use executive orders and vetoes in domestic policies. He won't get judicial nominations through. 81:45 The only caveat is how big this blue wave becomes. 81:49 He has to prevent a 60-vote Senate, which he did. By that I mean he needs his entire Republican Senate minority to stand in lockstep with him so you don't get a Lisa Murkowski or somebody else joining Democrats to override key vetoes. So that's good it didn't happen. The other thing you said I'm worried about is ramifications of 2028. 82:11 We've not seen a socialist win in a statewide race. We all said, well, New York City, Mondami, that was in New York. It's a weird place. 82:19 Or Darizella Avila, Xavier. And you know, she's in a district that's left wing. 82:27 But if El Saeed wins and James Tallarico, it's just a radical, just as radical, a may and may win. And Angela Nixon came very close. Then the implications are significant. If they go into 2028 with this hold on Congress, I don't think they're going to nominate a Josh Shapiro. I can tell you that. Well, that would be our luck. They'd be easier to defeat because Shapiro is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's rather left wing, actually. 82:55 He said someone like Gavin Newsom is chameleon. He'll adapt to however he has to. He made it clear on a hidden recording that's where the energy was. 83:05 John Ossoff is just Newsom without the record, and he goes on through the various candidates. 83:12 Okay. 83:14 I happen to think this election was consequential in the sense that the Democrats now have elected the types of people that you would never have imagined in terms of their ideology, in terms of their agenda. 83:27 And I think more are going to follow now.
